Setting up a game of Whoops! takes less than a minute. Split your guests into two teams (or more, if you're hosting a big party), pick a card theme, and set the round timer — 60 seconds is the classic pace, but you can go faster for an even more chaotic party game, or slower for younger players and beginners.
Each round reuses the exact same deck of cards, which is what makes the game so replayable and so rewarding: the words you struggled to describe in round one become easy layups by round three, once your team has already heard them mimed or clued once before. That repetition is the secret behind why this style of party game keeps tables laughing for hours instead of minutes.

Every correctly guessed card earns one point for the active team. Skipped cards go back into the deck and come up again before the timer ends, so no card is ever wasted.
